Privacy Policy

Introduction

Entero ("we", "our", or "us") provides a fitness platform used by members, trainers, gyms, and other organizations. This policy explains how we process personal information through the Entero mobile app and related services. Depending on how your gym uses Entero, your gym may also be responsible for deciding how it uses member information.

Information We Collect

  • Account and profile information, including email address, name, nickname, avatar selection, timezone, language, and gym memberships.
  • Fitness and onboarding information, including goals, experience level, equipment, training preferences, optional body measurements, and injury-area answers.
  • Workout information, including selected plans, workout sessions, exercise performance, set logs, progress, notes, rest-timer preferences, and personal exercises or plans.
  • Device and technical information, including session identifiers, device push tokens, app version, device type, IP address, and user agent where needed for security and operation.
  • Support communications that you choose to send us.

If you use Google or Apple sign-in, we receive the account information needed to authenticate you. We do not request your contacts or calendar.

How We Use Your Information

  • Authenticate you, provide the service, and synchronize your information across devices.
  • Show training content, record workouts, calculate progress, and support trainer/member workflows.
  • Send requested authentication, workout, and onboarding communications.
  • Protect accounts, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain service security.
  • Meet legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Gyms and Trainers

Trainers and authorized gym staff may see member profile, plan, progress, and workout information needed to provide their services. Gym-created exercises and workout plans belong to the gym and are not deleted merely because a member account is deleted. Member assignments, private notes, personal plans, and identifiable workout history are handled according to the deletion section below.

Service Providers and International Processing

We use service providers for hosting, database and object storage, authentication, transactional email, push notifications, security, error monitoring, and operational analytics. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Entero. Where European personal data is transferred internationally, we use an applicable transfer mechanism and safeguards required by law.

Website Analytics

In regions where consent is required, the Entero website asks for permission before loading optional analytics. Elsewhere, analytics may load by default. If enabled, we collect limited page, interaction, and technical error events to understand and improve the website. We do not send contact-form names, email addresses, or messages to analytics, and session recording is disabled. If you decline, analytics is disabled. Your choice is stored in your browser.

Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Retention and Account Deletion

We generally retain account and fitness information while your account is active. When you request deletion, account access and active sessions are disabled immediately. Your identifying profile, personal plans and exercises, onboarding answers, notes, preferences, workout history, and notification data are permanently deleted within seven days.

We retain a scrubbed technical tombstone that contains no original name, email address, profile, or fitness information. Gym-created reusable content remains. We may retain limited identifiable records for a longer period only when required by law or necessary for legal claims, with restricted access and a defined retention period. Backup copies expire through the normal backup-retention cycle and are not restored into an active account.

Email [email protected] to request account deletion without using the app.

Your Privacy Rights

  • Request access to or a copy of your personal information.
  • Request correction, deletion, restriction, or portability.
  • Object to certain processing or withdraw consent where consent is the basis.
  • Complain to your local data-protection authority.

These rights depend on your location and may have legal exceptions. We may verify your identity before acting. We respond to verified European data-rights requests without undue delay and normally within one month.

Children's Privacy

Entero is not directed to children under 13. A gym must not enroll a younger person unless it and Entero have established an appropriate, lawful child-account process for the relevant country.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
